Chivas Futbol Academy has been teaching the art of soccer since Spring 2007 with a vision to provide opportunities for young players to play, learn and enjoy soccer. Players of all abilities can benefit from the soccer academy, from four-year olds learning the game, to a 15-year olds dreaming of playing for National Teams worldwide, to 17-year olds preparing for a college career.
Chivas Futbol Academy has gained a strong reputation as a reputable resource for club and league administration and development. Members of the academy have consulted with dozens of clubs, advising them on how to implement player and coach development programs, how to run a tournament, how best to register players, among other things.

Hugo is committed to ensure quality training and competitive youth soccer opportunities, as well as having the highest quality staff.
Hugo played as a midfielder for the U.S. National team for 10 years and for pro teams in North America, Central America, Europe and Asia. Between 1984 and 1994, he was capped 73 times by the United States and scored 13 goals in those games. The total, at the time he retired, ranked him second of all-time in the national team.
Hugo, who was actually known less for goalscoring's and more for his deft ball skills, was the most talented playmakers in national-team history. He was a major part of coach Bora Milutinovic’s efforts to change the national team’s playing style to a possession game in the early 1990s.
Hugo has achieved the National Soccer Medal of Honor for his positive contributions to soccer at the national level that changed the course of soccer history in the United States. As a Soccer Hall of Famer 2008, Hugo has altered the American sports landscape creating a grander stage for soccer. The game is now far better for his contributions.
